Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue Receives
$15,000 Grant from PEDIGREE Foundation

We are excited to announce that Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, Inc. has been selected as one of the 43 fortunate recipients of the 2023 PEDIGREE Foundation grants. This grant, totaling $15,000, is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team in providing loving homes for dogs in need.

The 2023 PEDIGREE Foundation grants, disbursing over $600,000 in total, aim to support shelter and rescue organizations across the United States and Canada. The overarching goal is to enhance the lives of dogs and increase their chances of finding their forever homes. In total, these grants will positively impact the lives of approximately 61,000 dogs.

One category of grants, known as Program Development Grants, is designed to bolster the operational capacity of animal shelters and rescue organizations. This boost aims to elevate dog adoption rates and strengthen various aspects of the rescue process, including foster care, transportation, and matching/behavior initiatives.

Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue, Inc., located in Pennsylvania, was awarded a $15,000 Program Development Grant from the PEDIGREE Foundation. This grant will be instrumental in establishing an in-house transport program. With this initiative, we will be able to bring dogs to Pennsylvania from high-stress areas in Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

The creation of an in-house transport program is a pivotal step towards expanding our reach and rescue efforts. By rescuing dogs from regions where they face higher levels of stress and reduced chances of adoption, we are not only saving lives but also providing these animals with a second chance at happiness. This grant from the PEDIGREE Foundation is a crucial contribution to our mission and will make a substantial difference in the lives of countless dogs.
